The House Nobody Could Buy

Once there was a darling little cottage that sat on a hill surrounded by lush tall trees and beautiful flowers. It had a “For Sale” sign in front and everyone that saw it wanted to buy it – but nobody could. The problem wasn’t the house, the neighborhood, or the condition, no, the problem was the seller. While the seller had to move for a job transfer he priced his home too high for the current market. It didn’t take long before buyers lost interest and the house stood there Spring , Summer and Fall – vacant and sad looking. Eventually the seller got an offer. It was much lower than the current market as buyers were wary of the condition. The seller lost a lot of time and money. Moral of the story – never overprice your property unless you want to buy your house back!
